Shoot2Edit is formed from a group of broadcast professionals who have tens of years of experience each.
We’ve all worked on productions as varied as nightly news programmes to celebrity game shows and dramas. As a team we have worked independently and together so there’s a great buzz during our shoots.

Our core team consists of Lighting Cameramen, Sound Recordists, Directors, Script Writers, Drone Operators and Craft Editors. We can then pull on our vast resources and involve Voice Over Artists, Composers and Distribution specialists. Phil Hastie – Lighting Cameraman and Editor
Phil started his career as a camera/editor working for ITV. During his 25 year career he has worked on breaking News, Sporting events, Documentaries and Media training for a whole host of clients. His work has allowed him to travel to over 120 countries and just around the corner. Corporate training and information videos also play a large part in his workload and, along with the rest of the team. produce cost effective videos that match perfectly the client’s needs.
Chris Harris – Lighting Cameraman and Editor
Chris started at ITN in the mid ’90’s but quickly moved to regional ITV where he worked alongside Phil as a cameraman and editor. Chris then moved to a senior camera editor position before moving towards commercials and advertising. He now heads up the production side of one of the largest advertising agencies in the UK. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to all of our productions.
Bella Janson – Director and Script Writer
Bella has been a constant source of inspiration for all of the projects that she has worked with the team on. Phil and Bella first worked together over 15 years ago and have had some fantastic shoots including trekking through the rainforest in Gabon looking for Gorillas. The successful author to several books Bella can bring scripts to life and transfer her vision onto the screen.
Pete Banfield – Location and Post Production Sound Engineer
Pete trained initially at Ravensbourne on the Programme Operations course. It was there that Phil and Pete formed a lifelong friendship, any opportunity to work together is grabbed, with it comes experience that has to be seen to be believed along with a great sense of fun for the job. Pete works on many mainstream programmes for national and international broadcasters along with high end commercials.
